The DRV8801PWP is a DMOS full bridge motor driver in 16 pin HTSSOP package. It provides versatile motor driver solution with variety of capabilities. The device contains full H-bridge which can be used to drive brushed DC motor, one winding of stepper motor or other devices such as solenoids. A simple phase enable interface allows easy interfacing to controller circuits. The output stages use N-channel power MOSFETs configured as an H-bridge. An internal charge pump generates the needed gate drive voltages. The DRV8801PWP has built-in undervoltage lockout (UVLO), charge pump undervoltage (CPUV), overcurrent protection (OCP), short to supply protection, short to ground protection, overtemperature warning (OTW), overtemperature shutdown (OTS), fault condition indication pin (nFAULT) protections.
