The ADS1015EVM from Texas Instruments is an evaluation module (EVM) for the ADS1015, a 12bit, multi channel, delta sigma analogue to digital converter (ADC). The ADS1015 is a precision, low power, 12bit, I2C compatible ADC incorporates a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a digital comparator. These features, along with a wide operating supply range, make the ADS1015 well suited for power and space constrained, sensor measurement applications. The modular EVM uses two ADS1015s and minimal circuitry to demonstrate functionality and I?C bus communication for prototyping and part evaluation. The pins of the ADS1015 are accessible through various connections on the ADS1015EVM connectors. The EVM can be plugged into suitable motherboards such as the ADS1015EVM-PDK to work directly with any personal computer.
