The TPS65251EVM is a TPS65251 high current, synchronous step down three buck switcher evaluation module. The TPS65251 PMIC is designed to provide 3A and 2A continuous outputs with an operational range of 4.5V to 18V and an externally set switching frequency ranging from 300KHz to 2.2MHz. When the PMIC is not fully loaded, Buck1 can be loaded to 3.5A and Buck2 and Buck3 to 2.5A. The TPS65251 features three synchronous wide input range high efficiency buck converters. The converters are designed to simplify its application while giving the designer the option to optimize their usage according to the target application. The converters can operate in 5V, 9V, 12V or 15V systems and have integrated power transistors. The output voltage can be set externally using a resistor divider to any value between 0.8V and close to the input supply.
