The EXP430G2&BOOSTSENSE contains both MSP-EXP430G2 launch pad and 430BOOST-SENSE1 capacitive touch boosterpack. The MSP-EXP430G2 low cost experimenter board called LaunchPad is a complete development solution for the MSP430G2xx value line series. The integrated USB based emulator offers all the hardware and software necessary to develop applications for all MSP430G2xx series devices. The 430BOOST-SENSE1 capacitive touch boosterpack is the extension module for the MSP430 launchpad value line development kit. The boosterpacks can be connected to the MSP-EXP430G2 with both 10 pin male headers soldered onto the board and therefore, use all available pins on the MSP430G2452 value line device. The capacitive sense boosterpack features the new MSP430G2xx2 devices, which are capable of driving up to 16 touch sense enabled I/O pins. The included MSP430G2452 device allows for low cost capacitive sensing and approximation sensing applications without use of any external components.
