The DK-LM3S9B96-FS8 is a Stellaris flash and SRAM memory expansion board for development kits. This memory expansion board is designed to connect directly to the external peripheral interface port of the Stellaris LM3S9B96 (or DK-LM3S9D96) microcontroller and provides external flash memory, SRAM memory, and a liquid crystal display controller interface in addition to demonstrating ease of use in connecting multiple external memories and peripherals via the Stellaris MCU's flexible EPI configured in host bus eight address/data multiplexed mode. The expansion board provide a complete platform for evaluating the LM3S9000 series of Stellari microcontrollers, featuring extensive connectivity options such as 10/100 Ethernet, controller area network, universal serial bus full speed on the go, and inter IC sound. The flash and SRAM memory expansion board quickstart application displays JPEG images from the board's flash and SRAM to the DK-LM3S9x96's 3.5inch col VGA LCD touchscreen display.
