The BOOSTXL-C2KLED is an add on board designed to fit the C2000 LaunchPad and the other 40 pin based LaunchPads. The C2000 LED BoosterPack demonstrates the control of three boost converters to drive three LED (Red, Green, and Blue) strings. A variety of user interface options are provided included capacitive touch control using an MSP430 and the MSP430 Cap Touch BoosterPack (430BOOST-SENSE1) as well as a PC GUI application. This boosterpack is ideal for those wishing to learn about real time digital control techniques and LED lighting. This kit requires a C2000 LaunchPad to function as intended. This BoosterPack provides users with a way to accurately control a series of LED strings while efficiently controlling the power stages needed to make the LEDs work.
