ADS8519EVM

EVALUATION MODULE, DATA CONVERTER.

The ADS8519EVM is designed for the prototyping and evaluation of the ADS8519 analog to digital converter (ADC). The AD8519 are complete 16bit analog to digital (A/D) using state of the art CMOS structures. They contain a complete 16bit, capacitor based, successive approximation register (SAR) A/D with sample and hold, reference, clock, and a serial data interface. Data can be output using the internal clock or can be synchronised to an external data clock. These 16bit, capacitor based, SAR/ADCs operate at a maximum rate of 250KSPS. The EVM allows the use of an optional buffer amplifier U2 to condition the input signals to the ADS8519 device. The EVM is configured to use an off board reference through the setting of on board jumpers. The 8519 EVM is designed for easy interfacing to multiple analog sources.
