The PTH04T230WAZ is a 1-output 21.6W surface-mount non-isolated Adjustable Power Module with TurboTrans™. This regulator represents the 2nd generation of the PTH series of power modules which include a reduced footprint and improved features. Operating from an input voltage range of 2.2 to 5.5V, the PTH04T230W requires a single resistor to set the output voltage to any value over the range, 0.69 to 3.6V. The wide input voltage range makes the PTH04T230W particularly suitable for advanced computing and server applications that use a 2.5, 3.3 or 5V intermediate bus architecture. The module incorporates a comprehensive list of features. Output over-current and over-temperature shutdown protects against most load faults. A differential remote sense ensures tight load regulation. An adjustable under-voltage lockout allows the turn-on voltage threshold to be customized.
