The MC7924BTG is a 1A negative voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-220 package. This fixed output negative voltage regulator is intended as complements to popular MC7800 series devices. This regulator employs current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area compensation making it remarkably rugged under most operating conditions. With adequate heat sinking it can deliver output currents in excess of 1A.
